Support Jason and Griselda After Tragic Loss

Our hearts go out to our coworkers Jason and Griselda as they face an unimaginable loss. On Wednesday November 6th, this young couple lost their 15-year-old daughter, Chantelle, to a rare and aggressive blood cancer. She fought bravely for a year with her family by her side every step of the way. Though she had dreams left to fulfill, like visiting Disneyland and dining at the Hello Kitty restaurant, she has now become their Angel.

Chantelle was a beloved sister to her two brothers and two younger sisters, and her warmth and love touched everyone around her. For the past year, her parents focused on supporting her in every possible way, with Griselda (Mom) traveling daily to the hospital and Jason (Dad) keeping life going for their other four children. This meant that both parents had to step away from work, which took a financial toll on their family.

Now, in addition to coping with the heartbreaking loss of their daughter, Jason and Griselda are facing the challenge of funding a proper service to honor Chantelle’s memory.
