Jason has always been the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Recently, while walking along the beach with his girlfriend Pamala and picking up firework trash to help keep the area clean, he was seriously injured when he picked up a bomb-like device that unexpectedly went off. The explosion resulted in the loss of his hand, turning what should have been a simple act of kindness into a life-changing emergency. He’s currently awaiting 2 more surgery’s after having his hand amputated. He currently has vision loss and hearing loss, it’s currently unknown if it will return.

This sudden accident has brought a wave of challenges for Jason's family. He will be out of work for some time. The road to recovery will be long and difficult, with many unexpected expenses along the way. Funds raised will go directly toward transportation to and from medical appointments, essential medications, and hotel stays for him and his family during his treatment and recovery. He is the sole provider for his family and still has 2 children in school to care for. Every bit of support will help ease the burden and allow Jason to focus on healing.
