My name is Jasmine, and in 2022, I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. After enduring long months of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, lymph node removal, and countless rounds of radiation, I was finally declared cancer free. I was so grateful for that chapter to be behind me, but recently, my world was turned upside down when I learned that my cancer has returned—and this time, it’s terminal.

This news has been incredibly hard to process, especially after everything I’ve already been through. The past six months have been a whirlwind of emotions and challenges, but I am doing my best to remain strong and hopeful for whatever comes next. My biggest priority is to be there for my children and to make sure their needs are met, even as I face this battle. The financial strain of ongoing treatments, bills, rent, and simply keeping food on the table has been overwhelming. Every trip to the doctor, every prescription, and every day-to-day expense adds up quickly.
