Help Them Fight Again:
Support for Jasmine’s Cancer Treatment and Recovery
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
We never imagined they would be here again. After facing endometrial cancer once, they’re now navigating the hard reality of a recurrence. This time, the treatment path is more intense, more specialized, and more financially overwhelming.
Starting in June, treatment will begin with daily radiation therapy, five days a week for 5 weeks. Following that, they will travel to Santa Clara for brachytherapy (internal radiation). These sessions will happen two to three times a week, requiring them to stay in Santa Clara for that time period. As of right now, they are unsure how many times they will have to travel and stay there during treatment.
Unfortunately, their insurance won’t cover all aspects of these treatments, and there will be other hardships as well. They are facing:
• Out-of-pocket medical bills and treatment costs.
• Travel and lodging for the extended stays in Santa Clara for brachytherapy.
• The financial strain of Wesley missing random workdays to be by Jasmine’s side through it all and helping to take care of their foster daughter.
This journey has already taken an emotional toll, and now the financial burden is adding even more stress during an already fragile time. I am humbly asking for help, from anyone who’s able, to bridge the gap and give them one less thing to worry about while they focus on healing.
Every donation, share, and message of support means more than words can say to them. Whether it's a monetary donation or simply passing this along to someone who might be able to help, you can be a part of their fight.
From the bottom of my heart and I know from theirs as well, thank you for standing with them.
With gratitude and hope,
Vicki and Duane Garman
