Hi everyone. My name is Jasmine Bynum! On July 16, 2026, I was involved in a hit and run car accident on 696 in Roseville, MI.

In the blink of an eye, a truck ran me into the wall while I was driving in the far left lane, causing me to hit my head multiple times on my drivers side window, airbags deployed, and it knocked me out unconscious temporarily.

Once my Jeep landed on the right emergency shoulder (by the grace of God) after it was done coasting down the freeway, I hurried and crawled out of the car. There were some witnesses who seen the whole thing who were able to report it to Michigan state police. Unfortunately, the suspect fled after hitting me. By the Grace of God, I’m alive with bruising, body pain, and some swelling. My Jeep is unfortunately totaled, leaving my 5 year old son and I without a car. I am a teacher for DPS, and on the journey to pursue my Doctorate of Education. I’m a mother who does everything on my own. I am asking for friends and family help to please contribute to us for car rental funds, hopefully help with a reliable vehicle, and with Lyft for my son and I to make it to work and school every day.
