Hey! Kristina here. I created this for my cousin Jasmin and her baby, Adalynn.

Adalynn was born on November 5. This sweet baby girl struggled to keep her blood pressure and oxygen levels up. Hours after her birth she was air lifted to Cook’s Hospital in Fort Worth alone while Jasmine awaited to be discharged from the hospital after the cesarean.

I went to visit Jasmine the next night. She hadn’t seen her baby since they day before and she never got to hold her. I watched as she called to ask for her video feed to be turned on. We all cried. You can imagine how difficult that was. Jasmine is a joyful person and she’s been doing really well to stay strong through this. Adalynn’s nurse told us she’s very feisty and doing well.

Baby Adalynn is having open heart surgery this morning, Nov 14, at 9 days old to repair a whole in her heart. Baby Adalynn will require a cardiologist for the rest of her life.

I’m asking for your help to give Jasmine and Adalynn relief over the next few months. Jasmine is a single first time mom. She has a strong support system back home in Fort Stockton.
