Hi everyone,

My name is Jasmine (she/her), and I am a Black trans woman living in Washington DC. I was recently let go from my job after four years of steady employment. The loss was both sudden and heartbreaking. I have always worked hard to support myself, and navigating this unexpected transition has been incredibly difficult.

I am actively applying for jobs and have an interview scheduled next week. Still, as many know, it can be especially hard for trans women to find stable and affirming opportunities. I am doing everything I can, but I need some support to stay on my feet while I find my next role.

I have years of experience in nonprofit work, especially in LGBTQ+ community organizing. My background includes client services, administration, and event planning. I am open to any opportunity where I can contribute and earn a living wage. If you know of any job leads or remote positions, please reach out.
