Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share that our beloved Jase Porter, 12, has recently suffered a serious medical accident that has left him in urgent need of medical care. On October 31st, Jase was involved in an ATV accident. He sustained kidney is shattered, lacerated bladder, and internal bleeding. He was airlifted to Fargo where they stabilized him enough to be able to air jet him to the cities children's hospital.

As you can imagine, the physical and emotional toll this has taken on Jase and his entire family (Mother Mia Nelson, Father Patrick Porter) has been overwhelming. Jace is currently receiving treatment at children's hospital, where doctors are doing everything, they can to stabilize him and begin the recovery process. However, the road ahead is long and uncertain, with Jase requiring immediate on-going care. Surgery is on the table, but the doctors are trying everything to be able to avoid it.
