Over four years ago, following the death of her beloved mother, Jasamine Young-Paulhill was let go from a job in the non-profit sector that she had poured her heart and soul into for years prior. Within the organization, Jasa's concerns were dismissed by her boss, and her workload and responsibilities were ever-increasing. Jasa strongly believes that functional racism may have played a significant part in her being dismissed from a position that she was otherwise excelling in.
Jasa's significant burnout and subsequent dismissal from the position led to significant mental health struggles. Currently, Jasa is working to dismantle systemic racism through writing, speaking, advocacy, and coaching.
At this moment, Jasa needs a boost to help her get back on her feet, after coming off of some significant mental health struggles.
Please help Jasa, as you are able. It would mean the world to her, as she re-balances her ship.
