Hello everyone, I’m Sia and my boyfriend is Jarrel. Jarrel is an amputee who is braving the challenges of his great loss. Currently, Jarrel is battling chronic arthritis that has also caused him to have a knee replacement of his surviving left leg. Recently, he was also scheduled to have the bone shaved down on his right stump. This is causing issues with therapy to gain the ability to use his prosthetic leg. Healing time for the knee replacement and now the bone shaving can prolong the therapy process that is so very limited to just twice a week. Jarrel could benefit from more therapy sessions as well as mobility assistance. Jarrel uses a manual wheelchair, which is a great task while healing. The use of a motorized scooter and ramp while navigating outings and appointments would be of great help.
