On 08/31/2024, my brother took his own life. It’s important to remember he was struggling in ways most of us could never imagine, and this was his conclusion of finding the peace he couldn’t achieve on earth regardless of how painful it is for his family and friends. I’m here today to help find contribution to give him that peace eternally by putting both his body and soul to rest.

Jarred (Jay) Gerstein was not just my twin, but also a father, an uncle, a love that lasted over a decade, a son, a grandson, and so on. Despite his internal battles, he was the first to help others with their own. A self-taught mechanic, Mister Fix-It, and the goofiest person with the most unexpected jokes that kept you laughing for hours on end. The light he brought into this world might’ve burned out, but he left a permanent mark in so much darkness.

Let’s come together to give him a proper goodnight. All donations will go straight to his rest and service, and any additional will be funded to his son for support.
