Help Us Support Jarita’s Healing and Her Family

Hi friends and family…

We’re reaching out during a challenging time for our family. Jarita is currently hospitalized and facing what will likely be a long road to recovery. While she focuses on healing, I’m doing my best to keep things steady at home… working, parenting, caregiving, and managing the day to day needs of our three kids: Solomon, Sparrow, and Savanna.

Sparrow lives with Type 1 Diabetes, which adds another layer of complexity to our days. Her care requires constant attention… monitoring blood sugar levels, counting carbs, managing devices, and being ready to act quickly when things change. It’s nonstop and emotionally demanding… and even more so without Jarita by my side.

We’re juggling a lot right now… keeping up with work, making sure Solomon and Savanna get to enjoy some of their summer, and traveling back and forth from Moorestown to UPenn to be with Jarita. The tolls, parking, gas, add up fast … and takeout has definitely overstayed its welcome.

If you know Jarita, you know how much she gives of herself. She’s a steady, passionate force in our community… coaching in youth basketball leagues, mentoring young people, and pouring her heart into every child she works with. Even from her hospital bed, she’s worried about practice schedules and not letting anyone down…

We’re humbly asking for support during this time. Any contribution… no matter the size… will help us keep our home running, meet our children’s needs, and give me the space to be fully present for both Jarita and our kids.
