Thankfully, the stroke was caught in time to prevent more severe physical damage, but the toll it has taken on his communication and cognitive abilities has been profound. Jared is now facing:

-Severely impaired speech and language abilities

-Memory loss and difficulty with attention

-Trouble reading, writing, and processing information

-Overall slowed cognitive function and thinking.

Jared has always been incredibly smart, articulate, and expressive. A deep thinker and a gifted communicator, he had a way with words - whether through thoughtful conversation, meaningful writing, or sharing music. Now, he struggles to find words, to understand written language, to express what's in his heart and mind. It is deeply painful to watch someone who once communicated so clearly to now face such immense challenges.

This is a pivotal, earth-shattering moment for his family. Jared was the cornerstone of their household - a hands-on father, a supportive husband, and a hardworking man who dedicated himself fully to caring for his family and building a life they were proud of. Now, he, his wife and children are adjusting to a new reality.
