Hello, my name is Jared Page and I'm a senior Graphic Design major at The Elizabeth City State University. I am trying to raise enough money to go on a study abroad trip to Kenya to study their art style and culture in graffiti. This trip means so much to me because this will be my first time out of the country. As someone who grew up in Washington, DC, where there's a plethora of cultures and traditions taking place, I believe taking this trip will help me gain a better appreciation towards people who are not from America. In addition, I will be using my passion in art as a way to connect, communicate, and learn more about Kenya and their culture.
