Jared Fisher was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer back in March. As the owner of his own fence business, Redfish Fence Co in Meridian, Idaho, Jared has always worked hard to provide for his family. Despite the intense challenges of chemotherapy and radiation, he continues to go to work seven days a week, determined to make ends meet. The toll this is taking on his body is extreme, leaving him with little energy to fight the cancer itself.

This diagnosis hits especially close to home. Jared's older brother Jason passed away from brain cancer when he was just 35, and the two were business partners who did everything together. In addition to the physical toll, Jared is facing the emotional impact of cancer, carrying the weight of his brother's loss and the uncertainty of his own journey.

We are creating this fundraiser to give Jared something he desperately needs—time. Time to rest when his body tells him to rest. Time to recover from treatments without worrying about how the mortgage, utilities, insurance, and other expenses will be paid. Time to focus on his health without the constant stress of wondering how he will provide for his family. With extra funds, Jared will be able to listen to his body and take a day off without stressing about finances. We also hope to help Jared purchase a skid steer for his fencing business. This equipment would significantly reduce the amount of manual labor required, allowing him to continue supporting his family while protecting his body as he battles cancer. He can no longer do the level of manual labor he has in the past, and this support will make a real difference.
