Hello everyone, I am Mackyndra. I wanted to share with you a story of resilience and strength. My uncle, Jared Schulthies, was in a terrible dirt bike accident on Monday, April 1st.

Following the accident, Jared was admitted to the neurosurgery ICU at Enloe Hospital. He has bravely faced two brain bleeds, multiple broken ribs, lacerations, and road rash covering a significant portion of his body. Additionally, he requires dental implants and reconstructive surgery after losing some of his front teeth in the incident.

While Jared fights his battle for recovery, my aunt Elizabeth and their two children were on the east coast when the accident occurred. They rushed back home at the earliest opportunity to be by Jared's side. It's going to be a long journey ahead, Jared will be out of work to recover and Elizabeth will be taking time off from work to support him in his recovery.

Despite the hardships, Jared maintains a positive attitude and is grateful that the situation wasn't more severe.
