Update 08/06/2025

Jared finally had the ventilator removed yesterday. It was a tough day for him, but he is now breathing on his own and no longer sedated. However, his fight is far from over. He is dealing with pneumonia caused by the ventilator, infections, and the complexity of his surgical site means it will take time before it's healed and ready to be closed. Jared is a fighter but needs our love and support. Please continue to keep Jared in your thoughts and prayers.

Dear Friends and Family,

I'm reaching out to you during a time of great need for our friend Jared. On July 11, he was admitted to Payson Hospital, where he underwent emergency life-saving surgery. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse as he became septic and had to be transferred to another hospital with better resources to handle his increasingly complicated medical condition.

Jared has bravely faced multiple surgeries and medical procedures, and he is currently in very critical condition. He still has more surgeries ahead of him and will require extensive recovery time—potentially months to a year.

As he navigates this challenging journey, we are asking for your thoughts and prayers for Jared. Additionally, we need your help to alleviate the mounting medical bills and living expenses during this difficult time.

Anyone who knows Jared understands that he is one of the kindest and most supportive individuals in our lives. He is an amazing father and best friend to his boys. He has always been an advocate for recovery and men's mental health awareness. Now, it’s our turn to support him in his time of need.
