This morning, my Mom Jan was found on the floor of her home by a friend. An ambulance was called and she was rushed into emergency abdominal surgery. She will be in the hospital for 7-10 days and I have been advised that I need to be there to support her recovery after. I have been underemployed for 7 months and what emergency savings I had was needed for rent, utilities, and other basic needs over the last few months. I am trying to afford flights from Portland to Orlando and related expenses such as a rental car to get from the airport to Ocala and gas for the trip. Anything you can do to help my family would be greatly appreciated.
