Support Jan's Journey Through Recovery of double mastectomy

Hello my name is Judy I am January’s 2nd oldest child, Over the last 4-6 weeks it's been a hell of an emotional/mental Rollercoaster with some unsure feelings. She has been seeing a high risk breast surgeon, as to which she’s been spending a lot of time there, due to having some issues for an extended amount of time. She was sent in to have a MRI done to ensure there wasn't going to be any surprises but as to her surprise some masses did pop up. It showed a mass on the left side and 3 on the right with one of them messuring at 2.5 times larger than the rest. She had a biopsy on the largest one which thankfully came back as benign. This will require her to have a double mastectomy and be down for an extended amount of time. Fast forward to today she had her final appointment with the surgeon to schedule a double mastectomy. She should get a call in the next 2 weeks to get this all taken care of and hopefully not have anymore scares .

Jan is a very loving mother of 5 kids and 6, soon to be 7, grandkids. She has done everything by herself for as long as she can remember but now she needs our help! Due to all her doctor appointments she hasn’t been able to work as much as she normally would plus being down for surgery (the doctor estimated around 3 months) she isn’t going to be able to afford her bills. We are hoping this will help her as well as relief some of the stress!
