My name is Brenda, Jan and I have been friends for a long time.. we are more like sisters! I was able to visit with Jan this week . She was doing pretty well, though still very weak, and is preparing to begin her chemo soon. My prayer

now is that this treatment will completely destroy the cancer in a miraculous way.

Something that’s been on my heart is helping ease the financial burden for Jan and Nick, so they don’t have to carry that worry on top of everything else right now.

Jan and Nick are so thankful for all the love, encouragement, and prayers that have been poured out for them. Jan gives Jesus all the glory and knows that every prayer lifted on her behalf matters deeply—she is forever grateful!

One of Jan’s favorite scripture is:

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: ‘For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.’ Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

Please continue to pray for Jan’s complete healing, and for Nick as he faithfully stands by her side caring for her. Whatever you are able to give will be appreciated greatly, and will help lift a huge weight off their shoulders during this difficult time!

Jan and I talk often she has shared that we all grow in Christ through prayer. So pray for Jan!
