Hi, my name is Jannell Hembry, and I was born with clubfoot.
Today, I’m proud to be a Clubfoot Ambassador of Clubfoot Solutions and the author of Clubfoot Track Star, a heartwarming children’s book written to uplift children born with clubfoot and teach self-love, courage, and hope. Now, I’m turning this powerful story into a short film—not just for entertainment, but as a mission to bring healing and hope to children across the world.
We’ll be filming in Kenya, where many children with clubfoot are still hidden in their homes due to shame, lack of awareness, or no access to treatment.
This film will:
-Raise global awareness about clubfoot
-Encourage children with disabilities to believe in themselves
-Show families that clubfoot can be treated
-Inspire healing and community through love and storytelling
Every child deserves to run, dream, and shine.
Your support will help us:
-Hire a small production crew and local actors
-Meals, clean water, and care kits for families we visit
-Cover travel, editing, and housing for outreach
-Distribute the film to schools and organizations
-Provide corrective treatment to kids with clubfoot
Over 200,000 babies are born with clubfoot each year
Together, we can remove the shame and replace it with joy, healing, and visibility for children born differently.
