Support Jannat Nofal's Path to Safety

June 23, 2025- it is with great sadness to inform you that the matriarch of the Nofal family and Jannats beloved mother was martyred  after being targeted by the IOF on Friday. 

There are simply no words to convey the loss and the impact felt across borders. Please continue to pray for and support Jannat monitarily as she navigates survival under a new chapter, her backbone taken from her.

while the war machine never did skip a beat,(shifted merely) the accelerated annihilation returned March 18, and Jannat is now forced to flee, close her shop and abandon all attempts at renewing life at her destroyed home in jabalia. 

everything is uncertain and monetary support during this time is crucial as she and her family are forced to flee from place to place. aside from generously donating to help her survive and sustain the unimaginable — speak up! please! 

Update March 2025: Urgent Support Needed for Jannat in Northern Gaza

Hello friends, family, and compassionate supporters, I’m reaching out with an urgent update on Jannat’s situation in far Northern Gaza. Despite the immense challenges she continues to face, your generosity has been a beacon of hope for her. However, the need for support remains critical as Jannat is still living under blockade and siege in her destroyed home. Jannat’s home, like so many others in Gaza, has been severely damaged. She is doing her best to survive in unimaginable conditions, but the lack of basic necessities and safety is a daily struggle. Her priority is to rebuild her home and make essential improvements to ensure it is safe and habitable. This includes repairing structural damage, securing windows and doors, and creating a space where she can live with dignity and peace of mind. In addition to rebuilding her home, Jannat is determined to revive her small business, which is her only means of sustaining a livelihood. The blockade has made it nearly impossible to access supplies and resources, but with your help, she can start to rebuild her business and regain some independence. Your contributions will directly support her in purchasing materials, tools, and inventory to get her business back on its feet. Jannat’s resilience is inspiring, but she cannot do this alone. Every dollar you donate will go toward:

مرحبًا، اسمي ماجي، وأقوم بجمع التبرعات نيابةً عن صديقتي جَنَّات نوفل.

أنا مقيمة في الولايات المتحدة، وبسبب القيود الجغرافية على هذه المنصة، أتولى إدارة هذه الحملة. أؤكد أن 100% من الأموال التي سيتم جمعها ستذهب مباشرةً إلى جَنَّات. هدفي الوحيد هو ضمان سلامتها وحريتها ومنحها فرصة لإعادة بناء حياتها.

جَنَّات شابة موهوبة ومشرقة تبلغ من العمر 22 عامًا، وكانت قد بدأت للتو في السعي لتحقيق أحلامها. أثناء دراستها للحصول على شهادة بدوام كامل في الإعلام الرقمي، أطلقت أيضًا مشروعها الصغير الخاص. لكن عالمها انهار. فبعد مرور ثلاثة أسابيع فقط على العدوان الوحشي على غزة المحاصرة في فلسطين، استُهدِف منزلها، مما أدى إلى مقتل 11 فردًا من أسرتها على الفور.

ورغم هذه الخسارة التي لا تُحتمل، بقيت جَنَّات وأسرتها صامدين، يعيشون في منزلهم المُدمر في جباليا تحت التهديد المستمر بالجوع والعنف. وفي 7 أكتوبر 2024، استهدف الاحتلال منزل جيرانهم. وعندما ركض شقيقها عمر لمساعدتهم بعد الضربة الأولى، استُشهد على الفور تقريبًا.

طوال عامٍ كامل، بقيت جَنَّات وأسرتها في منزلهم، رافضين التهجير. ولكن للأسف، نجح الاحتلال في تهجيرهم قسرًا كجزء من محاولة لتطهير الأرض عرقيًا. وتحت القصف والجوع، اضطروا إلى ترك كل شيء خلفهم. جَنَّات وأسرتها الآن مُهجرون من أرضهم في شمال غزة، يعيشون في ظروف لا تُطاق وغير صالحة للحياة.

على الرغم من كل ما مرت به، لا تزال جَنَّات تحلم بمستقبلٍ مشرق. لكنها لن تتمكن من تحقيق ذلك بدون مساعدتنا. لقد ارتفعت تكاليف المعيشة في غزة بشكل كبير، ولا تزال المعابر مغلقة، ولا يوجد مكان آمن أو مصدر مستدام للحياة.

I am based in the United States, and due to geographic restrictions on this platform, I am running this campaign. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to Jannat. My only goal is to ensure her safety, liberation, and a chance to rebuild her life.

Jannat is a bright and talented 22-year-old woman who was just beginning to pursue her dreams. While studying full-time for a degree in digital media, she also launched her own small business. But her world was shattered. Three weeks into the brutal aggression on besieged Gaza, Palestine, her home was targeted, killing 11 members of her family instantly.

Despite this unimaginable loss, Jannat and her family stayed steadfast, living in their bombed home in Jabalia under the constant threat of starvation and violence. On October 7, 2024, the Occupation targeted her neighbor’s home. When her brother Omar ran to help after the first strike, he was killed almost immediately.

For an entire year, Jannat and her family remained in their home, resisting displacement. Tragically, the Occupation succeeded in forcibly displacing them as part of an attempt to ethnically cleanse the land. Under relentless fire and starvation, Jannat and her family were forced to leave everything behind. They are now exiled from their land in northern Gaza, effectively displaced and living in conditions beyond dire, unfit for life.

Despite everything she has endured, Jannat continues to dream of a brighter future. But she cannot achieve this without our help. The cost of living in Gaza has skyrocketed, the crossings remain blocked, and there is no safe place or sustainable source of life left.

Funds raised through this campaign will help provide Jannat with basic necessities, support her education, and secure her path to safety. It will cost at least $6,000 for Jannat to exit Gaza safely once the crossings open. Beyond that, she will need resources for housing, healthcare, and education, as well as the stability required to begin healing from over 400 days of unrelenting violence—and a lifetime of oppression.

This campaign is not just about supporting Jannat; it is a stand for justice, liberation, and the fight against the erasure of the Palestinian people. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference.
