My name is Janiya Allen, and I am a 17-year-old Senior at Yuba City High School. I strive to excel in everything I set my mind to, and I am currently a proud member of the Yuba City High School Honkers Cheer Program—a program that has been a pillar of our community for decades. It’s an honor to be a part of this legacy, which has inspired and uplifted countless students, including myself.

I began cheerleading at just 3 years old and have dedicated myself to the sport ever since. It’s not just an activity for me—it’s my art, my passion, and a major part of who I am. I earned the prestigious “All American” title both my junior and senior years. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend the event last year due to financial limitations. This year, I was blessed to be selected again, and I’m determined not to miss this opportunity a second time—especially since it’s my final year in high school.

That’s why I’m reaching out to my community for support.

This experience means the world to me, but my family is currently unable to afford the total cost. I need to raise $6,000 in a very short amount of time. The initial deposit of $400 is due by September 12, 2025, and the remaining balance is due October 3, 2025. The competition itself is December 3-8, 2025. This amount covers everything: lodging, meals, uniforms, travel, and participation fees.
