We are Janise Luna’s children, and we need help as we rebuild after her horrific train accident.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, Janise Luna’s life changed in an instant. While stopped at a railroad crossing in Minneapolis, her SUV was violently struck from behind by another vehicle, pushing both cars onto the tracks, directly into the path of a passing freight train. The impact was catastrophic, and both vehicles were completely destroyed.
Janise was rushed to Hennepin County Medical Center with severe, life-threatening injuries. She suffered a broken pelvis, fractured spine, and head trauma, leaving her unconscious after the crash. While we are incredibly grateful she survived, her recovery will be long, painful, and uncertain. She is currently unable to walk and will require extensive medical care and rehabilitation.

A Devoted Mother and Sole Provider
Janise is a loving mother of three children and the sole provider for her family. She has always worked tirelessly to give her children stability, love, and a safe home. She is the type of person who helps everyone around her—family, friends, and even strangers.
Now, she needs our help.
Due to her injuries, Janise cannot work, and the financial burden is overwhelming. On top of intense physical pain and emotional trauma, she is facing mounting bills and the fear of losing everything she worked so hard to provide for her children.

✅ A reliable vehicle, as her SUV was completely destroyed in the accident and she will need transportation for medical appointments and eventually returning to work. She only had liability insurance at the time of her accident.
