On June 3, 2025, Janis Meinke—an incredible mom and wife, devoted high school principal, and beloved friend—was diagnosed with invasive lobular carcinoma, a type of breast cancer. Her diagnosis includes multiple tumors in the left breast and cancer in nearby lymph nodes. She now faces an intensive treatment journey including chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation.
