Janice is a close friend of mine and a beloved member of our community, known for her warm smile and dedication at the local ball field concession stand. For years, she has been the friendly face who not only serves us snacks but also looks out for our children, always going the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome. Her kindness and generosity have touched so many lives, and she has always been there to support her family and neighbors.
Recently, Janice's world was turned upside down. She was diagnosed with cancer shortly after losing both her husband and her daughter. As the primary caretaker for her husband, Janice gave everything she had to care for him, and the unexpected loss of her daughter has been an unimaginable blow. Through all of this, she has remained strong for her grandchildren, using her earnings from the concession stand to help put them through college. Now, with her own health challenges and the inability to work as she once did, Janice is facing mounting medical bills and living expenses. She has moved in with her daughter temporarily, but the road ahead is long and uncertain.
Janice is a fighter in every sense of the word. It has been a big adjustment not seeing her at the ball field, where her presence is truly missed. Despite everything, she remains strong-willed and hopeful, determined to be back on her feet by the summer. With the grace of God and the support of our community, I believe Janice can overcome this latest challenge, just as she has faced so many others in recent months. Please consider helping Janice and her family during this difficult time—your support will make a real difference in their lives.
