Support Janice's Efforts to Save Her Cat

I want to raise money to help a Good Samaritan!

Janice and a friend were in Cullen Park in Houston, Texas, and they saw two dogs there. They messaged the Katy, Texas Lost and Found Pets Facebook page and asked them to post the dogs to try to find the owner, not knowing the dogs had been repeatedly posted for several weeks. Upon finding that out, Janice went home, bought food, got some leashes, and headed back to get the dogs and, maybe, be able to find a rescue to help her.

The dogs came right to Janice and, with help, she put them in her vehicle and took them home.

Within a couple of hours, these young dogs attacked one of Janice’s cats and almost killed her! Janice rushed her Maggie May to the emergency vet where Maggie May was diagnosed with a punctured lung, air under the skin (subcutaneous emphysema), lung contusions, punctures of the back leg and chest, and abdominal wall soft tissue swelling, no pulses detected in the back legs. Maggie May had to have the air removed from her soft tissues and a chest tube to reinflate the lungs. She had to stay overnight at the emergency vet.

Maggie May is home now and can barely move. Janice will be taking her to her personal vet tomorrow.

The expense of the emergency vet was $3,300.00 and I want to help Janice all I can. If you are able to help, it would be greatly appreciated. I’m asking if you could please share. Whatever donations are collected will go straight to Janice, no middleman. She was trying to help two dumped dogs and they almost killed her cat. Janice is still trying to find someone who can foster the dogs.
