We said goodbye to my dad, Mike Beaird, on Friday, June 6th, after his courageous battle with cancer. True to his character, he worked right up until the day he was admitted to the hospital in April. He fought with everything he had—if you knew him, you knew he was one tough son of a bitch.

During his 57-day stay in the hospital, he was unable to work, which unfortunately led to the termination of his employment and, with it, his life insurance. Janice was by his side every single day, taking leave from work to care for him and offer her unwavering support.

We will be holding a celebration of his life on July 5th at his home on Lake Champion. All who knew and loved him are welcome to join us in honoring his memory.
