Janette Delgado was my sister and the loving mother of her young daughter, Sofia. Janette’s life was marked by both deep love and difficult struggles. For most of her life, she battled drug addiction, but she never stopped trying to be there for Sofia. Nearly a year ago, Janette found the strength to live sober and dedicated herself to caring for her daughter. During that time, she worked hard to give Sofia the best life she could, and their bond grew stronger every day.
Sadly, Janette recently relapsed and passed away from a drug overdose at just 35 years old. Her sudden loss has left our family heartbroken and Sophia without her mother or father. While Janette’s journey was not easy, her love for Sofia was always present, and we want to honor her memory by supporting her daughter in every way we can.
We are raising funds to cover Janette’s funeral expenses, which have become overwhelming for our family. Any additional support will go directly to Sofia, who is now an orphan. Our family will be stepping in to provide her with the love, stability, and care she needs during this difficult time. We are deeply grateful for any help you can offer. Your kindness will make a real difference for Sofia and help us honor Janette’s memory. Thank you for considering a donation and for keeping Janette and Sofia in your thoughts.
