Support Janet's Recovery and Journey to Retirement

We are raising funds for my mother, Janet Ceppos, as she recovers from 3 hospital stays in the last 4 months.

Mom had a fall in December 2024 that put her in the hospital with a large laceration to her head and some small broken bones in her back. During that visit, we also learned from her x-rays that she had pneumonia. She was treated and seemed to be clear of it by February. In March, however, the pneumonia came back much worse, and she was in the hospital for 11 days. She went home for a bit under home health care until April 18th when she had to be taken to the ER for acute respiratory failure. During this visit, she had to breathe with the help of a ventilator for 4 days but thankfully is breathing on her own now. Tomorrow (April 30th), she will go to a skilled nursing facility for a couple of weeks before heading home again.

Mom has still been working in her second career as a Safety Assistant riding with special needs kids on school vehicles. (She retired from the mortgage business 10 years ago.) She has been on unpaid leave since March 21. She is now looking to retire again fully as her health has become more fragile.

While she continues to recover, fills out retirement, Medicare, and Medicaid paperwork, she will need some support in keeping up with her medical and household bills. If you are in a position to help, we would greatly appreciate your support.
