Support Janet's Beloved Yorkie, Lola Mae

Hello all, my name is Janet Stoll and I am the dog mom of five beautiful Yorkie girls. I have owned and loved Yorkies for over 47 years! I understand the expense and responsibilities of having furbabies and this is the first time asking for help.

Lola Mae is almost 3 and I recently had her in for a dental and to have a walnut-sized lump near her groin checked. My vet did the dental and referred me to a surgeon for the hernia. The estimate (including a spay while he is in there) is $3500 to $4200. Yikes.

If I decide to leave it as it currently does not seem to bother her at all, there is always that chance that it could become stuck or have scar tissue buildup, and then would require emergency surgery, which would be even more expensive and also possibly life-threatening.

Being retired and on a fixed income, it requires budgeting, and after recently having to buy a new furnace for eighty-five hundred dollars and paying seventeen hundred for her dental, my reserve emergency fund is depleted. I am not one to ask for help but a friend suggested I set up a GoFundMe as there are other animal lovers out there who may be able and willing to help, so here I am!

I plan to apply for CareCredit, which helps in situations like this but must be paid off in six months, or you get socked with high interest. Thank you for taking the time to read. My girls mean everything to me.
