My beautiful wife, Janet Mack, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma on September 24, 2025. Multiple myeloma is a blood cancer that also affects the strength of bones. Due to the cancer, Janet has suffered L1, L2, T5, T11, and C7 spine fractures, seriously limiting her mobility. Janet has been hospitalized twice and is undergoing chemotherapy, which will hopefully lead to a stem cell transplant. Janet is my wife and my best friend, plus she is the kindest woman I know. She has an amazing heart, and it has been a nightmare watching her suffer from this disease. While there is no cure for multiple myeloma, Janet’s prognosis is good, and we pray every day that she reaches remission. Any financial assistance with medical expenses would greatly help in lifting some of the burden off our shoulders during this difficult time! I am unable to work at this time; I am her caregiver and biggest supporter, needing to help her with normal activities of daily living.
Before she was diagnosed, Janet worked full-time in her career. She enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. She also dreamed of writing her own fantasy novel one day.
