Mom and Dad would like you to meet Janessa George, the funniest and sweetest little lady who has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)— the most common type of blood cell cancer in children. Janessa is 6 years old with so much life inside her— she’s charming, curious, and always been adventurous— not to mention kind, smart, and a little soft spoken which adds to her charm. Within the next two years, Janessa is expected to undergo a series of chemotherapy, biological therapy, steroidal treatment, and so much more. Since her diagnosis, she has undergone several cycles of chemotherapy, steroidal treatment, and is currently receiving weekly lumbar punctures.
Janessa is so strong, stronger than mom and dad we have come to realize. She is a fighter and a joyous one who continues to remain in good spirits despite her diagnosis. Any help received from you will help our little Janessa. It will continue to provide her the best care, aide in medical expenses, provide much needed resources for her and her siblings, and support our family unit tremendously through this difficult time. Vanessa (mom) and Vern (dad), Janessa, Juliet, and Jazmine thank you all for your generosity and support! May God bless you and our Janessa, as we continue to stay positive together on this extremely tough journey.
