Hello everyone, my name is Sarah and I am running this fundraiser for my mother Jane.

On September 16, 2025, Jane suffered from a right basal ganglia intraparenchymal hemorrhage, a fancy term for a brain bleed which induced a stroke. As a result, she had to be medically evacuated from Anchorage, AK to Seattle, WA. She was in the Neurology ICU for two weeks.

Jane is now completing in patient rehabilitation in Seattle and is hopefully expected to leave to a lower level facility of care around the end of November.

Thankfully, Jane is healing and getting better each day. However, we have not been given a timeline of her recovery and ability to return to a normal life. She is currently unable to move the left side of her body and she will need a long time for recovery and rehabilitation. As I receive more information from the doctors I will keep updating this fundraiser. As of right now, and we anticipate for a while, Jane will not be able to support herself.

All donations made to this fundraiser will go directly into her paying her medical bills, mortgage, and general bills to protect her during this vulnerable time.
