As many of our dear friends and family know, Jane was diagnosed with stage 4 uterine cancer in August of 2024. She started her 8-week journey of chemotherapy right away which resulted in small signs of tumor reduction followed by 10 sessions of radiation therapy. Over the course of 9 months, we've learned of the incredible rarity of Jane's cancer diagnosis as it's metastasized to the brain. Despite several months of physical and occupational therapy, Jane has become progressively immobile and can no longer care for herself on her own.

We've been working on making the family home disability-friendly and purchasing all the necessary ADA-compliant accessories to maintain daily life as we've navigated this journey. We've hired wheelchair accessible transportation to and from the hospital to transport Jane to appointments that can't be completed via telehealth or home healthcare. Jane started her final fight of a new chemotherapy combo on Thursday 5/15, and we remain hopeful for progress toward health.

This GoFundMe has been created to help relieve the financial burden this journey has placed on Jane and Michael. We're forever grateful for those who've spent time with us over the last 9 months navigating this heartbreaking journey, learning, grieving, praying and hoping.
