Hello everyone, this is Bella. I’m reaching out with something I never imagined having to share, but I’m learning that love and community are everything — especially right now.

Our daughter Jane, who is only 8 years old, was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor called a craniopharyngioma. It’s located in a delicate part of her brain, pressing on her optic nerves and sitting on top of her pituitary gland. Her surgery is scheduled for December 10th at Children’s Dallas, and it will be a major procedure involving a full medical team across multiple specialties.

Because of the tumor’s location and the risks involved, her recovery will be long and carefully monitored. She will also require lifelong hormonal care after surgery. This has turned our world upside down in a matter of days.

As many of you know, I am self-employed, and my spa is my family’s livelihood. With Jane’s appointments, surgery, and recovery, I will have to step away from work for an extended period to care for her full-time. This is something I would do without question — she needs her mom — but it also means we will be facing financial strain during this time.
