Hi, my name is Janelli LeClair and I was diagnosed with Nutcracker Syndrome. Nutcracker Syndrome is when your renal artery is wrapped around another artery and causes compression. This causes Pelvic Congestion Syndrome as well. With this, it causes left flank pain, the kidney is not able to circulate properly, swelling of the leg, extreme tiredness, and extensive headaches.

Due to this, I had to leave work and schedule surgery to get this fixed. I had the surgery on July 23rd, and was in the hospital for 7 days, I received staples for a 30-centimeter incision. Once released, I was home for no more than 10 hours before profusely throwing up bile and extreme pain. I had to go back to the hospital where I stayed for another week. I was consistently throwing up bile and losing weight. Doctors haven’t figured out why.
