I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea for help and support for one of our own. Life can be unpredictable, and sometimes it presents us with challenges that we can't overcome alone. Today, a GoFundMe campaign is being launched for Janelle Volta, who has experienced a medical emergency and will soon face financial difficulties.

As I am embarking on this journey, I can’t thank you enough for your support and well wishes and sincerely appreciate your words of encouragement! After my program, I really need to pick up the pieces of my life. I sincerely hope you know that all the time I’ve spent with you means the world to me and I hope to be back on my feet so I can get back to doing what I love. Exercising has always been a passion of mine and teaching the classes with you all MEANS EVERYTHING. Please help in any way you can, and I will give back 10-fold and dedicate my future to embracing all of us again.

I think it is finally time to share my truth with everyone. It is something I have always been trying to hide. I’ve always wanted to come across as this (not perfect) person who teaches classes and takes care of herself. I am an alcoholic, and I have been in the hospital for days now because when I got here, I was near death. I feel the need to put it out there so when I’m gone for a few days I don’t have to make up excuses like “oh I was in a car accident” or "oh I was out of town" or "oh I was really sick in the hospital." Plain and simple, I am a severe alcoholic, and I need help. Fortunately, I am getting that help today and hope to continue that journey going forward. It is one day at a time, but I finally felt the need to be honest and put it all out there. It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, but the weight of alcoholism will always be there. I apologize for the lies and deceit to everyone and going forward I promise to be honest with you all. Thank you for listening and thank you everyone for your support. I love you all.
