Support Janelle Lester's Healing

On October 8, 2018,  Janelle Lester was in a car accident that is still dramatically impacting her life still today.  Janelle has been a part of our MaxLiving Network for over a decade most recently working as a CA Coach.

Spending the month of October pushing through and believing in healing, she soon realized that life had to change to get the healing she knew she needed.

Having not missed a day of work in her life, she has been off work since November 12, 2018. Her neurologist has limited her time interacting with others to an hour a day and has recommending that most of her time be spent in low light and low noise. She spends most days alone praying for her brain to go back to normal. The neurologists are calling it “Post Concussive Syndrome” -- the rest of us simply look at it as “got a concussion and now it’s taking time for the brain to heal.”

As we know Janelle has been a blessing to so many of us through her wisdom, joy and friendship, please help support her so we can help alleviate the financial stress of all she's going through.

From Janelle:
"All doctors involved (just saw neurologist again yesterday) seem to all be on the same page and continue to say I’m doing everything I can be doing. It just. takes. time. Can’t force or rush the brain to heal any faster than it’s going to. Can only do whatever I can to support it’s healing.

"We all agree I AM progressing, though some days & weeks certainly don’t seem/feel like it.

"How long will I be off? - We ALL wish we had the answer to that! Thought I’d be back at the start of the year. Then thought the start of Feb... here we are into March. On a GOOD day, I’ve been able to tolerate 1.5hrs of work from home (silent controlled environment).

"Working with various therapies to get my body moving again within limitations - keeping my heart rate monitored and not getting too high as it sets off migraines. Same with stress and excitatory emotions - the brain registers the hormones and chemicals released as the same, and with them also trigger brain swirl, dizziness, light-headedness, fatigue, and migraines. Other therapies to help my brain and eyes work together again - being able to focus and register properly. Movement (when things are moving in the background, making eye contact when someone is shaking their head, or even the sun shining through the trees while driving - produce a strobe-like effect = "no bueno." All these things are triggers. I wear ear plugs when I leave the house as noises can be too much. I spend the vast majority of time in a silent and dimly-lit house."
