Support Jane Meyer’s Journey to Recovery

On Monday, November 18th, Jane Meyer, a loving wife to Bob and devoted mom to Katie (and her husband John) and Ben, suffered a sudden and life-threatening brain aneurysm. She was rushed to St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, where surgeons worked tirelessly to repair the aneurysm. While the surgery was successful, Jane’s road to recovery has only just begun.

Currently, Jane remains in the intensive care unit at St. Mary’s Hospital, fighting the effects of the aneurysm and its complications. Brain aneurysms, particularly in the cerebellum, can disrupt critical functions such as balance, coordination, and motor skills. Jane has endured the use of intubation to assist her breathing and recently required a tracheostomy—a procedure to create an opening in her windpipe to aid in long-term breathing support.

This is an incredibly challenging time for the Meyer family. Along with the emotional toll of seeing their beloved wife and mother fight for her health, Bob and the family are adjusting to major life changes. Missed work, lost income, extensive travel expenses, and the realization of a prolonged medical recovery are creating significant financial strain.
