Jane has been a dear friend of mine for as long as I can remember. She is a devoted mother of three, constantly juggling the demands of work, parenting, and caring for her children’s health and mental wellbeing. Despite her tireless efforts, the challenges seem never-ending, leaving her with little time for herself or her partner. The daily grind of appointments, school runs, and household responsibilities has created a cycle where self-care is nearly impossible, and even finding a moment to breathe feels like a luxury.
Over the past several months, her family has been navigating incredibly heavy challenges. Her oldest daughter has been in and out of a mental health facility, facing ongoing struggles that have turned daily life into a constant state of worry, fear, and emotional exhaustion. At the same time, her middle child was recently diagnosed with celiac disease, requiring a complete lifestyle shift and added care. All while raising a young toddler who needs her just as much.
Behind the scenes, Jane and her partner are doing everything they can to hold their family together—but the weight of it all has taken a toll.
Her days are filled with appointments, hospital visits, school responsibilities, and trying to be everything for everyone. Nights are often restless, filled with worry. There is little time to breathe, let alone rest or take care of herself.
The stress of keeping up with everything has taken a toll on Jane and her family. Housework understandably falls to the bottom of the list, but its impact is felt throughout the home. Jane’s days are filled with caring for others, and rarely does she get a break to focus on her own needs or spend quality time with her partner. A little extra help could make a world of difference—having a weekly cleaning service would ease her burden, allowing for more relaxation and precious family moments. A date night or weekend getaway would give Jane and her partner the chance to reconnect and recharge, something they both deeply deserve.
Jane is a loving and hard-working mother and partner. She has the strength of super woman, but no one can do it all alone. Any contribution, big or small, could make a big difference. We may not be able to make all that is bad in the world right, but we can change one family’s world for the better.
