Support Jana's Journey to Healing and Hope

My dear friend Jana is one of the most selfless and kind people I know. She is always thinking of others and how she can brighten their day. If you are lucky enough to know Jana, you know what I mean! She is also very resilient. As many of you know, for years Jana has been battling endometriosis. This condition causes severe pain that Jana lives with to some degree every single day. Many days are nearly unbearable for her.

As Jana has dealt with this for many years, she has had to learn to manage the pain; as there is no cure, and treatments have not been super effective for her. One thing that is giving Jana much-needed hope at this time is the opportunity to travel to St. Louis to have surgery by an endo specialist. Jana has had a similar surgery before but has since learned that the previous surgeon missed a lot of the endo tissue, which explains why she never felt the improvement she was hoping for.

This upcoming surgery with a specialist is giving Jana hope for some relief so that she can get back to living life the way she wants to live. Unfortunately, the surgery is very costly, and many aspects of it will not be covered by insurance. The medical costs, the travel, and time away from work will add up for Jana and her husband, Shawn. At this time, they need support to feel more confident financially before she goes into the surgery in January.
