Jana Maynard is a a devoted mother of two, recent college graduate, and the wife of a long-term active-duty Army veteran. She’s spent her life taking care of her family and supporting her husband’s service, and now she is the one that needs support.

At only 34 years old, she was recently diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy, but afterwards she received news that she now needs radiation treatment and may also need chemotherapy and long-term hormone therapy.

With treatment comes missed work, travel costs, and out-of-pocket medical expenses that are quickly adding up. Jana and her family are stationed in Georgia, but the rest of their family is located in Florida, so local support is very limited. They're doing everything they can to stay strong for their 4-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son.
