My name is Kia and this is my son Jamin. He is 23 years old and he has been diagnosed with a very rare kidney disorder called Focal Glomerular Sclerosis (Focal Segmental-FSG).
He currently has 13-15% kidney function
(CKD Stage 5) and although he has been approved and placed on the National Kidney Transplant List ,he was denied for disability compensation despite his critical health situation…he also finds it challenging to work a secular job because his health fails him most of the time. I am raising funds to help offset medical expenses for Jamin that insurance won’t cover and to be able to set aside some funds to assist with post transplant expenses until he is able to get back on his feet .This fundraiser would also help pay for his anti-rejection medications that he will need to take for the rest of his life. Jamin is a very quiet, kind, loving but most importantly a strong resilient young man that despite all the things he has had to endure in his very young life, he has taken them on with assurance that God is with him and will see him through. Please consider donating to help him be able to transition through this current and future phase of his life. Please share and we appreciate all donations because it takes a village.
