Hi! My name is Jamileth Gomez Alfaro, and I’m a 3rd-year Communications major with a minor in Education at UC Santa Barbara. I’m passionate about cultural exchange, education, and community impact.

Studying abroad is something I’ve dreamed about because I believe it’s one of the best ways to grow both personally and professionally. Immersing myself in another culture will allow me to gain a global perspective, strengthen my communication skills, and bring back experiences that will enrich my future career in education and community engagement.

As a first-generation college student, studying abroad is an incredible opportunity, but it also comes with financial challenges. I’m raising funds to help cover program fees, travel expenses, housing, and daily living costs so I can fully embrace this once-in-a-lifetime educational experience. Every contribution, big or small, brings me closer to achieving this dream, and I’m deeply grateful for the support.
