Hi. My name is Jamila Lawrence. I currently reside in the United States.

On October 28,2025. My country, Jamaica was hit by Melissa. A category 5 hurricane. Leaving the country in a devastating state. 90% of my community is destroyed. Families were left homeless, without food, water, electricity, and their livelihoods gone.

I have started this GofundMe, in order to help with the rebuilding of my families homes, as well as assisting others in my community of Roaring River, Westmoreland. Donations will go towards infrastructure, food and other necessary essentials.
