We almost lost our dear Jamie in April of 2024. She went into liver and kidney failure unknowingly and was found unresponsive. She was life flighted to Pittsburgh on 4/21/24. She was on life support in ICU for 2 weeks and at UPMC Montefiore/Presby for 41 days. She has made huge strides in her recovery. She had to learn how to walk and talk all over again in addition to feeding herself, bathing herself and dressing herself. She is currently on dialysis 3 days a week and in need of a kidney and partial liver transplant. She is on the transplant list and is patiently waiting for a donor. The funds raised from this account will go towards loss of wages for her fiance Jamie Ray as he will not get paid when he misses work during her transplant. He will still need to pay all the bills so they don’t lose their house and vehicles. The funds will also help him for food, travel, and hotel. Jamie also will be traveling to Magee Women’s Hospital to see the liver specialist on several occasions in the near future and it will help with her traveling expenses. She can receive the call any day and has to be ready to go. Everyone has been so supportive of their needs and we can’t thank you enough. We are trying to reach our final goal !!!
