Supporting Jamie's Thymoma Recovery & Healing

We want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your support, your prayers, well wishes and your kind and generous donations to help support Jamie's healing process. We are blown away by the overwhelming support we have received.

Jamie wanted to be sure to let everyone know that any of these funds that are unused in her road to recovery will be donated to support research around thymomas, as this is a rare type of diagnosis with very little knowledge of the cause. She's hoping that those contributions can be helpful to others going through a similar experience to help support them, too.

After experiencing double vision issues back in September, Jamie was led to a diagnosis and finding- a large mass found on her thymus gland, and an unfortunate news that it was a rare form of cancer. Our fierce sister, Jamie, is facing this thymoma diagnosis head-on, and we are asking for our friends and family to surround her with your unwavering help, love and support.

For those of you who know Jamie, you can imagine the shock, as she has always led a healthy and active lifestyle, but is determined to continue to do just that in efforts to bring her body back into a state of health, healing and ultimate recovery and remission. Jamie is working with both naturopathic and conventional oncologists to not just treat the problem, but ensure that her body has all the support it needs to fully heal.

Jamie's journey will ultimately require a complex surgery to remove the tumor, and we are hoping with the strength and support of her loved ones, we can provide some help for her in this journey and road to recovery. Having taken a leave from work due to her vision, she is able to focus solely on her health. Unfortunately, many of the holistic treatments being recommended by her naturopathic oncology team are not covered by insurance, so while Jamie and Nick are doing their best to do this on their own, we are hoping that any and all financial support we can provide to them during this time will help alleviate some of the stress, and provide comfort and help when they need it the most.
