I'm going to write the story and tell it the best way I know how. If you know her, you know she is the most selfless person and would never ask for help for herself. This has been one of the hardest things she's ever been through, yet she tries to keep a brave face for everyone else. She went on vacation last week with her family, what was supposed to be a fun family vacation quickly turned into one of the most painful weeks of her life. She was preparing to cook hibachi for everyone on the outdoor grill, unbeknownst to her, there was a build up of propane gas. When she ignited the grill, it instantly exploded from the bottom. Her feet, legs, knees, and forearm (which she covered her face with) suffered 2nd degree burns. 911 was called and the ambulance took her straight to a burn center in the local area. She is now back home and is continuing to undergo treatment for her injuries. Due to the severity of her wounds, she was readmitted into the hospital and can't return to work. I am asking for donations to cover the cost of medical bills and her monthly bills that continue to pile up while she is healing. To know Jamie, is to love her, and God knows we all do. She would give the shirt off of her back if she thought you needed it. It would mean a lot if we could come together and show her the same amount of love and support, that I know she would give to any of us in need.
