Support Jamie's Recovery After Motorcycle Accident

On Easter Sunday my sister Jamie was in a motorcycle accident. She was seen by the local emergency room who decided it was necessary to ship her to Erie where she could be better assessed and treated due to not knowing the full extent of her injuries. Her tests immediately showed a grade 5 laceration of her spleen. She went through a procedure to stop the bleeding and immediately went in for surgery to remove her damaged spleen. She had over a liter of blood in her abdomen and was lucky she went to the hospital when she did. Jamie is raising two boys and was working full time while trying to plan for a wedding this year. She unfortunately does not have health insurance. She has come home recently but has a long road to recovery with numerous doctors appointments, testing and physical therapy. While she is very lucky to be alive and be home with her boys she cannot return to work full time yet and has medical bills piling up that will continue for the next several months. She is not one to ever ask for help but as her sister I see how hard this is for her and hate to see her struggling to make ends meet when what happened to her was a crazy accident they required immediate medical attention or she would not be here with us and today. If you can donate anything to help her and her little family through this difficult time I know she would appreciate it more than she could ever express. Any amount helps as we are uncertain when she can return to work and uncertain how many medical bills will continue to pile up during her recovery.
